Designed and built to be a premier cultural institution in Philadelphia, the mid-Atlantic region, the country, and the world, it should come as no surprise that the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology has a long history of community outreach and collaboration. This is particularly evident in the Museum’s educational programs that connect throughout the city, the Delaware Valley, across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and increasingly around the globe via new initiatives involving the greater understanding and appreciation of the world’s cultural heritage.
