CAADC ANNOUNCES FUNDING FOR HOMEOWNER REHAB/LBP REMEDIATION

Date: Thursday, October 06, 2011 Contact Information: CAADC 610-891-5101 info@caadc.org Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) announces that it has received funding for lead-based paint remediation for homeowners in Delaware County. Homeowners can receive up to $8,000 to have lead paint hazards removed from their home. This generally involves new windows, doors, drywall, trim, etc. CAADC will test the home for lead paint and perform all of the renovations. In order to qualify, residents must: • Meet certain income guidelines (see attached brochure), • Have a child under the age of 6, • Be a homeowner, and • Be a resident of Delaware County but NOT living in Upper Darby, Haverford or Chester. All services are free of charge, pending proof of eligibility.
